Cider Poached Pears with Truffle Honey
A sophisticated comforting dessert. Poaching pears in apple cider and finishing with a generous drizzle of Truffle Honey to complete this sweet dish.
Ingredients
1 gallon Apple Cider
2-3 Cinnamon sticks
5 Clovers
Sabatino Truffle Honey
Bee Pollen
Vanilla Bean ice Cream
Method
- Peel the pears and place them in a large pot. Add apple cider and water until the pears are fully submerged.
- Add cinnamon sticks and cloves to the pot.
- Cut a piece of parchment paper into a circle to fit the pot, then place it directly on top of the liquid to keep the pears submerged.
- Simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the pears are tender. Remove from the liquid and plate.
- Drizzle Sabatino Truffle Honey over each pear, add a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, and finish with a sprinkle of bee pollen for a flavorful touch.
