Savory Mushroom Tartlets
Serve up these mini truffle & mushroom tartlets as the perfect bite-sized hors d’oeuvre for your next dinner party.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup mixed mushrooms
2 large shallots, diced
1 ½ tbsp extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup balsamic
2 tbsp Sabatino Calabrian Truffle Crunch
Salt & black pepper
Gruyere cheese
Finely chopped mint, parsley, dill & chives

METHOD

1In a sauté pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the shallots and cook until softened and translucent.

2Stir in the chopped mixed mushrooms and sauté for 3–5 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned.

3Add the balsamic vinegar and cook until it has reduced slightly, about 1–2 minutes.

4Remove the pan from heat. Stir in the Sabatino Calabrian Truffle Crunch, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped herb mixture.

5Place a small cube of Gruyère cheese in the bottom of each pastry cup. Spoon the mushroom mixture on top.

6Garnish with the remaining chopped herbs. Serve warm and enjoy!
