Savory Mushroom Tartlets
Serve up these mini truffle & mushroom tartlets as the perfect bite-sized hors d’oeuvre for your next dinner party.
Ingredients
2 large shallots, diced
1 ½ tbsp extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup balsamic
2 tbsp Sabatino Calabrian Truffle Crunch
Salt & black pepper
Gruyere cheese
Finely chopped mint, parsley, dill & chives
Method
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the shallots and cook until softened and translucent.
- Stir in the chopped mixed mushrooms and sauté for 3–5 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned.
- Add the balsamic vinegar and cook until it has reduced slightly, about 1–2 minutes.
- Remove the pan from heat. Stir in the Sabatino Calabrian Truffle Crunch, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped herb mixture.
- Place a small cube of Gruyère cheese in the bottom of each pastry cup. Spoon the mushroom mixture on top.
- Garnish with the remaining chopped herbs. Serve warm and enjoy!
