HOW DO I USE A TRUFFLE SLICER?

A truffle slicer is a handheld version of a mandoline. You want to be very careful operating the slicer as the blade is extremely sharp. The purpose of a slicer is to be able to shave onto the plate in an aesthetically pleasing way. You certainly can use a mandoline to thinly shave truffles, however, it won't bring the same allure as a slicer.

We offer two versions of a slicer, the only difference is the handle. Handwashing the slicers is recommended as to not dull or damage the blades.

We have a wood-handled version as well as a fully stainless steel version.
