PLEASE NOTE: Whole Truffles will often have a little nick , we call this a "canifer". This is a man-made nick done to check the ripeness of the flesh, by the forager. The forager will make a little cut with a special knife called a "canife”, hence the term "canifer".

Good morning truffle lovers,
This week we have plenty of Black Winter Truffles (tuber melanosporum) available for Valentine's Day and the long weekend ahead. Peak season quality continues to show in this batch. We are seeing some amazing quality truffles in this batch. The flesh is uniformly dark with tons of elaborate marbling. The aromas are very intense and fragrant. These truffles are perfect for slicing and shaving with nice round profiles in a variety of sizes.
This week we are able to continue offering both Whole and Cut tiers this week. Please place your orders early today as it will be an extremely busy day with Valentine's Day orders shipping out.
