PLEASE NOTE: Whole Truffles will often have a little nick , we call this a "canifer". This is a man-made nick done to check the ripeness of the flesh, by the forager. The forager will make a little cut with a special knife called a "canife”, hence the term "canifer".
FRESH BLACK SUMMER TRUFFLES

Good morning truffle fans,
This week we have brought in a very nice batch of Black Summer Truffles (tuber aestivum). This latest lot is flush with good-sized, ripe pieces that are sporting strong nutty aromas and good intensity. They are perfectly formed as well with well-defined marbling.
This week we will be offering both whole and cuts tiers. Prices are slightly up this week.
