Truffled Brunch Toast

Ingredients

2 slices of sourdough bread
2 tbsp of butter (Or Sabatino Black Truffle Butter)
2 large eggs
1oz Fresh Black Winter Truffle
1tsp Sabatino Truffle & Sea Salt
Fresh chives finely chopped for garnish

Method

  1. Heat a small to medium nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. While the pan is heating up, in a toaster, toast sourdough slices until nicely browned or toasted to your liking.
  3. Meanwhile, melt 1/2 tbsp of butter in the skilled and cook on egg sunny side up.
  4. Remove the toast form the toaster and spread your butter or truffle butter on each slice.
  5. Place the cooked egg on top of one slice of toast and repeat for the other slice.
  6. Once your toasts are assembled, sprinkle the truffle salt onto, and garnish with chives and fresh shaved truffle.
