How we implement
zero-waste practices

Healthy Soil RequirementS:
  • Soil must meet specific criteria regarding elevation above sea level, soil acidity, moisture and temperature.
  • Soil and water used are rich in truffle spores and essential for truffle growth.
Organic Matter Recycling:
  • Harness all organic matter (including water used to wash truffles, branches, leaves, and composted material) to build healthy soil for the future.

A healthier planet means healthier truffles

We give our truffles the top care and consideration, starting with the soil. On our farms, we have a zero-pesticide policy and only use organic-origin fertilizers. No organic waste is generated. All organic matter is composted to build future soil systems for new trees and future truffles.

Our sustainable practices directly impact fresh truffle production. We ensure a pristine environment by never using synthetic fertilizers. Truffles cannot grow without perfect conditions, and our clean soil inhibits truffle spore growth.
